Is a Pub Crawl in Barcelona Worth It? The Honest Maths

Pub crawl group at a bar in Barcelona before heading to the club

A pub crawl in Barcelona is worth it if you’d pay club entry anyway. Door prices at the big clubs run €15 to €25, while crawl tickets cost €9.99 to €20 depending on the operator and include entry to a club. It pays off most for solo travellers and small groups who don’t have a guest list place.

Prices checked 5 October 2026. We recheck them every month.

The short version

  • You’re paying for three things: club entry, a route and company. If you’d pay a club door anyway, a cheap ticket usually costs less than the door.
  • Tickets in Barcelona run from €9.99 to €20. Against a €15 to €25 door, a €9.99 ticket saves €5 to €15. A €20 ticket saves nothing on price.
  • Check what’s included before you compare. Our ticket covers two bars and club entry. Drinks are extra.
  • You don’t choose the club. If you want one specific club or DJ, buy that ticket instead.
  • At €9.99 it’s worth it for most people going to a club anyway, and most of all for solo travellers, hostel groups and first nights in the city.

What do you get on a Barcelona pub crawl?

A pub crawl is a guided night out: a meeting point, a group, a couple of bars, then entry to a club together. The formats in Barcelona differ in the details. Operators list between two and four bars, start between 21:30 and 23:15, and finish at a club.

Ours works like this. We meet at 22:30 every night at Red Garter Karaoke Bar on Passeig de Colom, go to two bars, and then walk into a club as a group. The ticket covers the bars and the club entry. Drinks aren’t included, and the club changes from night to night, so we never name one in advance. Groups are small to medium, and you need to be 18 or over with physical ID.

How much does a pub crawl in Barcelona cost?

A pub crawl in Barcelona costs €9.99 to €20 for one night. These are the single-night prices each operator listed on its own website when we checked.

Prices as published on each operator’s website, checked 5 October 2026. They change, so check before you book.
OperatorOne nightWhat the site lists
Barcelona Pub Crawl (us)€9.992 bars and club entry. Two nights for €16
pubcrawlbarcelona.com€10€5 online plus €5 on the night. 3 to 4 bars and club entry
Generation€13€15 if you pay on the night. Monday to Saturday
KING€14.993 bars and club entry. Three nights for €24.99
Evolve€16.994 bars and club entry
barcrawlbarcelona.com€20Club entry included

That makes ours the cheapest pub crawl in Barcelona, by a cent over the next one and by €3 to €10 over the rest. Some tickets list a third or fourth bar. We keep it to two and keep the price down, because bars are the cheap part of a night here. The club door is what costs money, and that’s the part the ticket covers.

Is a pub crawl cheaper than going to a club on your own?

Usually, yes, if the ticket is at the cheap end. Club entry in Barcelona costs €15 to €25 at the door, and a crawl ticket replaces that charge. Here is the difference at three ticket prices.

Ticket priceAgainst a €15 doorAgainst a €25 door
€9.99You save €5.01You save €15.01
€14.99You save €0.01You save €10.01
€20You pay €5 moreYou save €5

Two things to factor in so the comparison is fair:

  • Some door prices include a drink. The beach clubs often charge €15 to €20 with one drink. If your crawl ticket doesn’t include a drink, count that in.
  • Guest lists can be free, when they work. If the list has closed or you arrive after the cut-off, you’re paying full door price at 01:30. A ticket takes that gamble out of the night.

Who is a pub crawl good for?

  • Solo travellers. Walking into a club alone at 01:00 is hard. Walking into a karaoke bar at 22:30 where a group is expecting you is easy.
  • Your first night in the city. You don’t yet know which streets are overpriced or how late everything starts. Someone else handles the route.
  • Hostel groups that can’t agree. One ticket, one plan, nobody has to organise.
  • Anyone who doesn’t want to gamble on the door. Entry is arranged before you get there.

So is a pub crawl in Barcelona worth it?

At €9.99, yes, for most people. If you were going to end the night in a club anyway, the ticket costs less than the door, the entry is sorted before you arrive, and you spend the first half of the evening with a group and not looking at a map. The worst case is that you paid €9.99 for two bars you wouldn’t have found and a club you’d have paid €15 or more to get into.

There are two nights when you don’t need one: when you already hold a ticket for a specific club or DJ, and when you’ve booked a table. In both cases your entry is covered. And if you want a different format from ours, Barcelona Party Pass is the other option we’d point you to.

The cheapest way in: €9.99 for one night or €16 for two. Two bars, then club entry with the group. Drinks aren’t included and the club changes from night to night.

What should you check before booking any pub crawl?

These five checks take two minutes and apply to every operator, including us.

  1. What the ticket includes, in writing. Bars, club entry, drinks. If it isn’t written on the booking page, assume it isn’t included.
  2. Where and when it meets. Some operators only send the meeting point after you pay. Ours is public: the meeting point page has the address and map.
  3. Which nights it runs. Not every crawl runs every night.
  4. The cancellation terms. Ours is free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
  5. How you reach them on the night. We use WhatsApp, and the number is on every page of the site.
